Fascinators are light-weight hats meant to be worn perched on top of the head. In this step-by-step workshop for beginners, students will learn how to design their one-of-a-kind fascinator,create a signature Miss Victoria Regina 'Flocking Awesome' feather flower, build a Fosshape base, cover it with fabric, and trim the fascinator ready to wear out. April 4th thru 24th - 2026Talk Derby to Me
In this workshop, you will expand your millinery knowledge by learning how to block an individual sinamay hat on a wooden block. You will then wire, edge & adorn your wide-brimmed hat using age old millinery techniques. You will be equipped with relevant skills to make more advanced hats with this popular hat making material. May 9th thru 16th - 2026Millinery Flat Patterning
Cut & sewn hats are so versatile- whether it be a sun hat to a Halston-esque statement piece; but where do they begin? On paper of course! This class will introduce students to paper moulage that turns into a flat pattern that transforms into a hat. Each student will create a tip & band hat to their size that they wear with a new knowledge & pride. Held at the Art Students League of Denver |
